RAINBOW BRIDGE

Thomas
Thomas was was a beautiful kitten who became very ill and despite the best Vet care, he didn't improve. It got to the point where we believed he was in pain and his organs were shutting down so on 10 Nov, we had to let him be PTS. Thomas was a tiny cat with a huge personality and he is now buried in the garden that he wanted so much to play in.

Amy & Spicey
Our beautiful feral cats, Amy and Spicey were both exhibiting a deterioration in their health. Amy, the full feral that we could never touch, was found to have very small hard kidneys and was very thin. She was so ill, that there was no option but to put her to sleep. Just after this, Spicey, who had shown a slight improvement, began to deteriorate so we rushed her back to the Vet. We were told that she didn't have long and was in distress. That was our call to let our sweet baby go. RIP you precious furbies. xxx

Sage
We are sad to say that Sage, one of our most recent and very elderly rescues, has had to be put to sleep. We were sad that she was only with us for a few weeks but pleased that she had love and care. She managed to sun bathe nearly every day whilst with us, after being a house cat all her life.
She was an exceptionally nice cat who touched us all.

Ashley
Ashley was living with a permanent fosterer as she had a tumour on her face. Despite past surgery, the tumour grew to a size that rendered it inoperable and so we let our sweet girl find peace.

Douglas
Douglas was a three legged feral kitten who for no known reason, became a very aggressive adult cat. It was not safe to rehome him or to let him be with any other cat or human. His future was bleak with no quality of life possible. With heavy hearts, we had to let him sleep.

Peanut
RIP sweet Peanut. Your memory will live on in every cat and kitten we save. xxx

Ermine
Ermine was one of our feral cats and suffered with pancreatic cancer. Sadly, she had to be put to sleep on Tuesday morning, 11th July 2011.
She was a sweet little girl and we will all miss her.

Ginger and Pearl
Pearl was adopted from Cat Rescue and Ginger looked after her and her sister Millie.
You can read about their sad loss on the “Members”
page.
We send our condolences to Millie and her human companion who made them feel safe, loved and happy.

Daisy
Daisy was adopted by Susan, one of our volunteers.
You can read Daisy's story on the “Success Stories” page.
Despite a stroke last year, Daisy was very a contented and lovely elderly lady, aged 21.
Sadly Daisy had to be put to sleep recently.
We send our condolences to Susan who made the last years of Daisy's life so happy.
