Cats Needing Sponsorship Page

Here you can say ‘Hello’ to cats which are staying with us long-term but need sponsorship for their continued upkeep and welfare.

Sponsorship is a good way to help unfortunate cats if you aren't able to offer a home but care enough to want to make a positive difference to their lives. You will receive news and updates about the cat you choose to sponsor and a card every Christmas.

IF YOU WISH TO BE A SPONSOR

Please contact us so that we can discuss appropriate arrangements to suit you.

Your sponsorship contributions are used to help your sponsor cat and all the cats we take in. The money is used towards food and medical care for the cats.

We keep private the names of individuals who are our sponsors unless they tell us that they have no objection to their generosity being acknowledged on our website and in our bi-annual newsletter.

Businesses which give donations or sponsorship funds, or help us by other means, will be publicly acknowledged and details of their places of business prominently displayed on our ‘Supporting Contributors’ web page and in our newsletters.

Kevin

Highslide JS
Beryl → Vet → Kevin

Kevin is a beautiful black and white feral cat that we were able to take in following the sad passing of Ermine. Although feral, he is starting to turn round and we think he is probably first generation, born to a domestic cat outdoors.

He went to the Vets as Beryl the Feral and came back as Kevin!

He is now safe, warm, dry, well fed and loved and he will never have to struggle for survival again. He would love a sponsor to help fund his health and welfare.

We think he is now suitable for adoption. See our adoption page.

Olive

Olive looks the camera firmly in the eye.

Olive is our only remaining elderly feral cat, as our darling Ermine, Spicey and Amy all went over the Rainbow Bridge this year (2011). She is not suitable for rehoming and therefore is the perfect candidate for sponsoring. We have decided to move her to the office pen on her own. She never really had a friend cat so despite her age we are hoping she might start to bond with Christine. Because of her age, and that she has a bit of a smelly loo problem, we are watching her closely.

Charlie

Charlie copes so well despite his disability

Charlie has a condition similar to cerebral palsy in humans. He can get about with the help of a wheeled harness. He needs help with feeding and a lot of attention but he repays all efforts with great affection.
